Method Laundry Detergent

The nice people at Method recently sent me a bottle of their new laundry detergent to test. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and I have to say I am very impressed.

Method make cleaning products that are safe for every surface, including the earth’s, by using plant-based ingredients that are safe and non-toxic.  Their new laundry detergent uses an ultra-concentrated plant-based formula that really works.  It removed stains and cleaned my family’s clothes as well as the leading brands I have used.

I liked that you could use the dispenser one-handed, and also that you could control the dosage. A standard wash is supposed to take 4 pumps, but I found some of my smaller wash loads needed less. Method’s dispenser means I was in control of exactly how much I used. Their laundry detergent also smells really lovely and has a 35% smaller carbon footprint than conventional detergent. From August it will also be available in two new fragrances in the UK - Free & Clear which is unscented and Peony Blossom. I’m looking forward to giving them a try.

If you live in the UK and would like to try Method’s new detergent for yourself, I have a few individual use sachets that Method have given me to share so please drop me an email at april@21stcenturyhousewife.com if you would like me to send you one.
